Hamilton Wills is a flourishing Design Studio borne of Charlotte's passion for creating imaginative, sophisticated and elegant interiors.

The great granddaughter of a sculptor, granddaughter of a wildlife photographer and daughter of an interior decorator, Charlotte has always had a creative flair. Trained at Leith's Cookery School, she subsequently ran a freelance Private Catering business which took her all over the UK, Europe, the USA and Africa. She became accustomed to fulfilling the vision of her clients, working to tight deadlines and in sourcing the unusual. Working in an extensive array of beautiful country homes, elegant villas, chalets, luxury game and safari lodges her passion for creating stunning interiors was initiated.

Always having been inspired by aesthetic beauty, be it culinary, in nature, architecture or art, she sought to combine her creative skills subsequently training at the well renowned KLC School of Design in Chelsea. She has impeccable taste which she translates into the unique interiors which HWD studio proudly design. Alongside running the studio, she is also a marble sculptor having trained in Carrara and Florence, Italy and maintains a studio at her home in the Cotswolds. She loves nothing more than a challenge and most recently completed The Mongol Derby, the world’s longest, toughest horse race raising money for charity.

Attention to detail, coupled with the ability to translate client's vision into reality are fundamental to her Studio's philosophy today. Understanding the importance of open and honest communication her team is committed to creating timeless, stylish interiors that not only meet the brief but are ultimately entirely unique and surpass expectations.

Interior Designer

Growing up assisting my Father in many turnkey projects I completed a BA (Hons) in Interior Design so I could follow my passion. I have designed and project managed several developments and also worked within the retail sector. I am responsible for all of the architectural drawings, 3D visuals, developing schemes and the FF&E.  I enjoy live music, cooking, travelling, skiing and am also a massive foodie!

Design Assistant & Office Manager

Whilst I have no formal training I am partly responsible for most things in the office. My presence alone makes everyone happy and everyone works better when they are happy! My forte is sleeping but I also greet clients, suppliers and contractors when they come to visit, sign for deliveries and inspect projects during site visits.

I am also a pint sized foodie!
